Talks

I speak about the history of Spiritualism, the mediums who shaped it, and the archives that preserve their stories, drawing on my research and my new book, Silver Birch’s Medium: Maurice Barbanell and Twentieth-Century Spiritualism.

My audiences include universities, historical societies, archives conferences, and public events, both online and in person. Whatever the setting, my talks explore a bigger question: what this contested history reveals about belief, evidence, and memory.
